Control your water quality
pH measurement is essential in drinking water production plants; there are usually several measuring points throughout the whole production process.
Where is the pH measured?
Analysis of incoming water to understand if the pH level is suitable for cleaning chemicals (flocculants) to function.
Measurements during filtration, segmentation, fluctuation processes to exclude the possibility of plant damages.
Finished drinking water
Knowing the final product’s pH value is essential to ensure healthy alkaline levels for human consumption, and hence a high quality product.
Why does it matter?
pH remains one of the core values to be measured during the whole process of producing drinking water. PH is a key parameter to control changes in raw water, e.g. inflow from external water sources with different quality, appropriate conditions to prevent damages to other instruments, optimize the chlorine and in general to ensure the highest quality output. A perfect pH sensor for drinking water industry should provide:
high accuracy and repeatability
long term, reliable measurement
low maintenance (cleaning) and easycalibration
